SYNOPSIS

DIRECTOR’s NOTE

“My intent with this film is to paint portraits of these women who have been discarded by mediocre men, and explore how the patriarchy has broken them down to the point that they don’t even recognize each other as allies anymore.

Capitalism is a cancer on this planet and half the population is dehumanized beyond the other half simply because of the chromosomes they were born with. I think men tend to not realize how the patriarchy creates internalized misogyny, and it’s my hope that using a genre historically aimed at men (despite being developed by women) can lend some insight to what our mothers and sisters and daughters are up against.” - alessandro Pulisci
